Wave export invoices1/18/2024 Discounts are not created automatically, though users can add a line item to include both a discount or a late fee, if desired. Users can choose to print an invoice for mailing or send the statement directly from Wave. Each customer statement needs to be processed individually. Wave allows users to easily create customer statements if the customer has more than one outstanding invoice. All invoices contain a Save and Send Option, where invoices can be sent upon creation, or a Save and Record Payment option, to record any payments received along with the invoice. Reminder emails can be sent to customers prior to a payment due date, and additional reminders can be sent when a payment is past due. Users can add a variety of options when setting up preferences, including the ability to add a standard memo to any invoice or estimate. Users can easily create recurring invoices in the New Recurring Invoice screen, with the ability to customize the recurring invoice if desired. Users can also export the estimate as a PDF, if desired. Users can choose from a variety of send options for estimates, including the ability to send the invoice directly to the customer using Gmail, Yahoo! Mail or Outlook. Users can also create custom invoices for each customer, with users able to easily convert estimates to an invoice by simply clicking on the Convert to Invoice option at the top of the estimate screen. Once taken to the invoice choose their invoice preferences during the setup process, avoiding the need to customize each invoice. The first time a user creates an invoice in Wave, they will be given the option to add a company logo, accent color and the invoice template that they wish to use. The latest version of Wave offers enhanced navigation, the ability to auto-reconcile payments, and the addition of a Cash Flow Statement, with additional changes continuing to be rolled out throughout 2018. Designed for flexibility, Wave also offers a mobile app for both iOS and Android smart phones and tablets. Available for free, Wave also offers some add-on apps that are available for a small fee. Remember, once you delete transactions you can’t get them back, so be sure you’ve selected the right ones and are absolutely positive you want to delete them. Bulk Deleteĭid you accidentally add some personal transactions to your business checking account? If you need to delete several transactions, bulk delete to the rescue! Select the transactions you want to remove and click the trashcan icon. While performing other bulk actions like bulk categorization, you'll also have the option to review multiple transactions at once within the bulk actions menu. Review multiple transactions at once by selecting the box to the left of the transactions and then the checkmark icon at the top of the page. Reviewing transactions is like marking them off your to-do list. Select Account from the drop down to select a new Bank or Credit Card account for these transactions. Bulk Account Editĭid you ensure that these transactions are in the right account? If not, you can edit the account to ensure they're accurately recorded, and can be reconciled. Keep in mind that you can add multiple sales taxes, as applicable, but remember that transactions can only belong to one category. You can also use the tax option to remove all existing sales taxes for the selected transactions! Clicking the plus sign will add another tax or category row. As mentioned above, you can also organize by sales tax type and category at the same time. Select Tax as the type of bulk action from the drop-down menu, then select the applicable sales tax for these transactions. Hit Apply at the bottom, and see your transactions categorize automatically! Bulk Tax Applicationĭid you pay or collect the same type of sales tax on these transactions? Now you can bulk organize by tax and category at the same time. Rather than work on them one by one, use the left-hand checkbox to select all transactions that fall into the same category and then select that category from the drop-down menu. This is exactly what it sounds like: categorize multiple transactions at once! In your business, you'll likely have several transactions that fall under the same category. To select all transactions, click the check box next to Select all. To use bulk actions, select more than one transaction from the Transactions list by using the check boxes on the left-hand side of the list. To view the Transactions page, first log in to your Wave account at. The Transactions page is only available in the web browser version of Wave.
